What's For Dinner Wednesday: Glazed Spicy Salmon

{Glazed Spicy Salmon}


  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2½ Tablespoons coconut palm sugar (brown sugar or turbinado sugar works as well)
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce or liquid aminos like Bragg's
  • 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 pounds uncooked wild salmon
  • 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced (optional)


Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl and whisk together.

Place salmon on foil and parchment lined baking sheet, skin side down.

Pour glaze over salmon.  Refrigerate 30 min to 4 hours.

Preheat oven to 350.

Bake salmon 15 to 20 minutes until fork tender, blackened and flakes easily.

Top with green onions and serve.

I like to serve it with brown rice and a salad.
