Gariety's Garden

Our plants have been loving the weather lately. Warm days and cool night have put them in the mood to grow!
sugar snap peas

Bibb lettuce, strawberries and rhubarb

squash

Habanero, Jalapeno and Thai Peppers

Heirloom tomato

We also planted 6 Cinderella Pumpkin plants and 1 Jack-Be-Little Pumpkin. Last year none of our heirloom pumpkins survived until maturity so we are implementing some new pumpkin-survival strategies, including starting them earlier and placing them in different locations in the yard. We have a few more trays of seeds left to be transplanted when they are a little larger (bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, onions and banana peppers) and we'd like to add some herbs to the garden like cilantro, chives and basil.

I'm always jealous of your garden. We've been having a major drought here, and super weird weather, like snowing in May . . . Anyway, it looks great, you guys! I hope your cool pumpkins work out this year--It'll be fun to see what those different varieties look like.
