Under A Harvest Moon

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble...

Our Halloween lawn decorations turned out AMAZING! Thanks so much Mike and dad for all your hard work. My favorite part is the flickering solar lantern she is holding - it is so fun! We are going cauldron shopping this week so she'll have something to brew in. Mikey suggested we add dry ice to the cauldron on Halloween night!

Date Night, Temple Night

Last Friday, the first Friday of October, Michael and I went on a double date to the temple with our friends the Underwoods.
We stopped on our way out of town for some dinner.  The men had Panda and the women had Baja Fresh.
The Underwoods drove us in their super-cool minivan :).
The sun was just setting when we arrived at the temple in Oakland.  This is the view from the parking lot.  We were a little early so we headed to the visitor's center to check out the new exhibit about the Mormon pioneer influence on California.  It was excellent!

Parking lot pictures.
I love attending the temple.  It brings such peace into our lives.  It was wonderful to see so many people we knew from North Stake at the temple (Like Sharee's Grandpa and Uncle).  We are so grateful to have a temple so close to us.  We are very excited for the saints in Florida to be getting a new temple in Ft. Lauderdale!
After the temple we headed over to the Knudsen Creamery and had some ice cream.  An amazing night made only more amazing by being able to share it with my eternal companion.
